DescriptionCirca 1960, dark stained pine and oak straw Orkney chair. With its old straw back bound by marram grass and top rail in old straw covered in marram grass. It has a solid pine seat rather than the traditional marran grass drop-in pad. It retains the typical arm with a small curl. The side of the arms and back are fixed to the side rail with screws. The legs are square and tapering with the top of the back legs chamfered.
