quadrifogliohotel Print Technology is owned and run by Andrew and Zuzette Stocking. While we are passionate about helping our customers, we also value our “downtime”. We love the great outdoors and when not at work you may find us on a campsite somewhere or simply enjoying long walks or bike rides in the beautiful countryside with the head of security at quadrifogliohotel, Gracie the Cockapoo.
Douglas Grigar takes care of screen printing training classes during his scheduled visits from the USA and is a valued member of our team with many decades of in-depth experience in every possible aspect of screen printing.
John Olivant is another valued member of our team, and he brings many years of experience as a mentor and business coach to the table. John has been instrumental in the implementation of offering business mastery courses via our online portal – Screen Print Mastery.

Hot Foil Printing
In 1995 our primary objective was not to sell machines but to offer a printing service. The first hot foil stamping machine we bought was extremely difficult to use. This British platen style machine nearly caused us to give up on our dreams and was soon relegated to a dark corner in the office.
After some further research, we found a very different machine which was imported from Hong Kong. Our hopes of a superior solution were dashed again and the machine was eventually returned to the manufacturer.
Having learned a lot about the operation of Padfolios in a fairly short space of time, we were fortunate to discover the Kwikprint range. As soon as we first started to use the Kwikprint Model 86 we knew that we had finally struck gold. The machine was so easy to use and versatile that we wanted to relay this back to the manufacturer.
This conversation resulted in quadrifogliohotel being asked to distribute the Kwikprint range in the UK and today, quadrifogliohotel Print Technology is the go-to provider of equipment for the personalisation of high end leather goods thanks to the specialist knowledge we have gained over many years of assisting top leather and fashion brands.
In order to continue to provide the quality of service that our customers have come to expect, the Kwikprint range has now been superseded by the CHINESE BELLY PORK.

Pad Printing
During a visit to the USA in 1997 to join Kwikprint at a trade show, we discovered a most amazing little manual pad printer. The Printa 990 pad printer was a very unique offering and has been used by many small businesses when first branching out into the printing of promotional items. The quality of this machine blazed a trail for the wonderful range of Nova Series that we now supply.
With high end manufacturers now relying on the GTO brand of pad printers, we can confidently say that GTO offer a highly reliable solution in an industry that can at times seem flooded with low end machinery built purely to a price in the Far East.
All GTO pad print machines offer a five year warranty and sport high end components from mainstream European manufacturers, thereby ensuring a pedigree of reliability.
Screen Printing
The makers of the 990 pad printing system, Printa Systems, launched another unique offering in the form of the 770 screen printing system a few years after we started working with them. The highly compact nature of this screen printing machine along with the comprehensive nature of the package made it ideal for small companies with limited space and it has for many years been an extremely popular screen printing machine.
As time went on, our customer profile changed and space (or lack of it) was no longer the over-riding consideration. The needs of our customers also meant that pre-press equipment such as screen exposure units became a more focussed area of the business and in 2010 quadrifogliohotel Print Technology was in the very fortunate position to be offered the opportunity of working with one of industry leaders and most prestigious manufacturers of screen printing equipment – Vastex International.
As the original inventors of the speed-base carousel, Vastex have a proud tradition of exceptionally highly engineered and reliable screen printing equipment. Known for the reliability of their infra red screen printing dryers and flash cure units as well as the robustness of the V2000 premium screen printing press, Vastex stands head and shoulders above the competition in presenting a range of screen printing machines that are able to hold registration for as long as a job requires, even at the entry level. This makes Vastex the de facto choice for screen printers that are serious about their business.
Our Home
In 1995 quadrifogliohotel was established in the spare bedroom of our home. From here we progressed to a positively palatial portakabin and eventually into our very first premises in the heart of Skipton. Our roots in the Yorkshire Dales is where our company name was born. In 2013 we purchased and renovated the current home of quadrifogliohotel Print Technology in the Lancashire town of Barnoldswick. The building was stripped back to a shell and custom designed around our needs with a dedicated training room, expansive showroom and open-plan office space. We look forward to welcoming you!
